Our Leadership Team

Paul Walker, CEO

As CEO of ForeFront Power, Paul oversees the company’s strategy and all business areas across the United States and Mexico. Paul has had the opportunity to successfully lead various types of teams to see financial gains and to improve operational efficiency by ensuring individual team members are in the “right seat on the bus”. Work is not just a job for Paul, but a passion. He gains energy from providing inspiration and motivation to teams through this passion.

Paul has a consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in growth, revenue, operational performance, and profitability. Over the years, he has become a trusted board member and executive team collaborator with experience at RES Americas, RES Group, RES Northern Europe, British Telecommunications, Telstra, and Gap Gemini. Born in the UK and raised in South Africa, Paul studied at the University of Kwazulu / Natal.

Go Mizoguchi, Vice Chairman

Go is the Vice Chairman of ForeFront Power where he oversees the company’s strategic initiatives and corporate governance. Prior to joining to ForeFront Power, he was a General Manager at Mitsui & Co. (USA) where he oversaw the firm’s infrastructure businesses in North America, and led the initiative to spin out SunEdison’s C&I business unit.

At Mitsui, he was also in charge of wide range of transactions, including acquisition of a 680 MW Canadian renewable energy portfolio with the arrangement of approximately $800 million in project financing, acquisition of Astoria Energy LLC’s 575 MW gas-fired power plant in New York City, and investment in Stem, an energy management service provider with intelligent software and storage system as the Series C lead investor. He holds a Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dan Taylor, Chief Strategy Officer

Dan’s role at ForeFront Power provides oversight and leadership across all of our information technology, marketing, strategy, and innovation work. He transitioned to ForeFront Power from SunEdison in 2017 after a career in coalescing technology, marketing and sales functions into holistic processes.

At both Fortune 500 firms and IPO-bound start-ups, Dan has held leadership positions in sales management, marketing management, operations, strategy and knowledge management. His experience includes leadership positions at SunEdison, First Service Networks, and Cintas Corporation. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona, a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication & Leadership from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.

Charlie Sohm, Chief Development Officer

Charlie is responsible for supervising, managing, and directing regional development directors, project managers, engineers and project coordinators to support sales, pre-construction activities, permitting, procurement and construction across the United States. He has over nine years of project development and construction experience related to Solar PV.

Prior to ForeFront Power, he served as West Coast Project Development Director at SunEdison, and Senior Project Manager at Enfinity America Corporation. Before starting his career in the renewable energy space, Charlie held various positions in construction management for commercial and heavy civil general contracting firms including Rudolph & Sletten, Walsh & Forster, and C.C. Myers. Charlie is LEED AP Certified and holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration from CSU Sacramento.

Yohei Kishi, Chief Financial Officer

Yohei’s role at ForeFront Power includes oversight of corporate finance, tax compliance, accounting, and fiscal budgeting. He brings a critical skillset to the ForeFront Power team through his attention to detail, thorough analytical process, and unique ability to combine financial acumen with business strategy. Yohei has more than 15 years of finance experience in the energy sector with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. – ForeFront Power’s parent entity.

His project experience includes the financing and development of over 1 gigawatt of electricity generating capacity across four continents. Yohei holds a degree from the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
